E.R. Sandy

Awesome!!! So right now it's 1:12 AM on Friday morning. I just got home from the hospital because my little Noah pulled a stand-up mirror down on herself and it broke. Thankfully she didn't get cut in any serious locations. She did however, get cut on her first three fingers of her right hand.

She was at Grandma and Grandpa Wilson's house to spend the night there with her brother when it happened. I get a call telling me what's happened and it was off to Alta View Hospital we went. She slept through the first little bit of the visit. Once it came time for the doctor to really start looking at her fingers she woke up, and of course started crying. From then on it was pretty much crying for the next two hours.

Long story short, she needed three stitches in her middle finger and one in her pointer. Again, we are blessed that no glass got anything vital like eyes or neck and the like. Grandpa feels really bad, but it wasn't his fault.
You can definitely see the middle finger laceration, and kinda see the one on her pointer. Sorry this was taken with my cell phone when we first got there. I did bring my camera, and once I can find the special USB cable I'll upload them. Don't even get me started on stupid special USB cables...

Well it's late now and I have to work in the morning. Pray for my Noah.

Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was good. I'm really looking forward to Christmas. It snowed here in Utah yesterday and today for the first real storm of the season. Hopefully there will be more soon. I love the snow.

The little mommy

Just wanted to share a quick vid of the Noah being a little mommy. If you can't tell, she has her doll and she takes a shirt of hers and arranges it on the doll. Then she walks around with the baby in her arms and does it again. So super cute!

Thanksgiving

Well, I love this time of year. Not only because it's my birthday, but because I love what it has come to mean...family. I love being near family and friends and more than anything, just spending time. Of course, if any of you really know me, you also know I love to eat. I'd have to say my dad's stuffing and sweet potatoes are my favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal.

Hopefully all my loyal reader(s) have something to be thankful for. I know it's been a hard year for me, but I continue to be thankful for my many blessings. Remember, if we concentrate on those, we will be happy.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Don't forget to go shopping Friday morning bright and early!

Blogging, it's cool!

Well apparently blogging is the new "it" thing to do. I guess I'll start with some pics of my babies.

Just some pics of them in their Halloween costumes. Kainoah was a skunk and the Keaghan was Black Spidey.

Well hope to post more soon. Enjoy
